In the midst of immersion in Argentina, the Guépards of Benin lived a particular moment. On the margins of their preparation for the much-awaited rendezvous against the Albiceleste, Beninese players shared a moment of conviviality with the Rosario Central group.

All smiles, the Beninese internationals, dressed in their yellow and red colors, took the pose alongside the players of the Argentine club, recognizable by their traditional blue and yellow;

And at the heart of this souvenir photo, a well-known figure of world football: Ángel Di María. World champion 2022, back at Rosario Central to close the loop in the club where he was trained, also appears on the cliché.

An unexpected and symbolic encounter for the Guépards, who will certainly be able to add this moment to the beautiful memories of their passage in Argentina.

The main appointment, however, remains to come. On 6 October, Benin will challenge Lionel Messi's Argentina at the Buenos Aires Monumental, for what is to be the last appearance of the Argentine captain at home under the jersey of the Albiceleste.
